Layer 9

Layer 9 is building the operations layer for IoT networks. Its platform automates the work that consumes device operators — configuration, provisioning, continuous monitoring, and remediation — across heterogeneous network stacks, devices, and operating systems. A centralized console plus AI-enabled support handles high-volume networking issues around the clock, letting small teams manage large, distributed fleets without scaling headcount linearly with devices. Founded in 2019 and based in Redwood City, Layer 9 is led by Zen Yui and Alex Jia.
